There's an obit here for Doris Willmott Bearne who died 1962 aged 57 at Ridgewood, NY. It says her husband, a WW1 British Army veteran died Sept. 1955. Trouble is his name was Leonard Gerald Bearne. She is survived by son Leonard Gerald Bearne Jr. and a brother Cyril Willmott.

Derrick

You could try searching for relatives here

http://www.whitepages.com/

There is a probable match for the son in Florida

MargaretM

MargaretM Report 8 Feb 2013 13:20

But on that 1930 census it says that they all emigrated 1905. A different Leonard Bearne? The one who married Doris Willmott was Leonard Gerald Bearne according to Doris"s obit.

Hello Derrick - do you know your Leonard's exact birthdate? That might help us establish if Leonard Joseph Bearne and Leonard Gerald Bearne were two different people.
