I am searching for information on Charles Miller who served as a guard on Gibraltar and died there in 1850. He was married to Elizabeth (Long) I have their son's birth certificate (also Charles) of 1851 but have not been able to progress any further. Any help or suggestions would be most welcome.

Do you know when and where he married Elizabeth? Do you know whether Charles & Elizabeth had any other children?

All I know is that he was 'a native of England' (from his son's birth certificate) but I have no idea where or when he was married to Elizabeth. I am presuming that they married in England before he went to Gibraltar but I could be totally wrong! Elizabeth was born in Gloucester circa 1825. I think there was a son called George born in Gibraltar in 1856 so she must have been with someone else by then.
