jansmith Report 18 May 2010 14:24

wonder if its worth putting another thread (link this one to it ) asking for a look up at Kew for Boer war records for John Edward as we have been told this is why he isn't on 1901 census ?

martynsue Report 16 May 2010 21:38

i have been trying to find any wills that john or elizabeth may have made with no luck,
so there is obviously no hidden millions in my family, only joking.
i dont think they had anything to leave anyone.

lancashireAnn Report 16 May 2010 12:32

could try looking for wills perhaps?

martynsue Report 16 May 2010 09:26

no we have no proof, how do we go about trying to get this? or is this the end of the line

lancashireAnn Report 16 May 2010 00:05

but we have no proof that that is the right Elizabeth Jones death. Do we???????

martynsue Report 15 May 2010 20:49

ok,this is fact.
john occupation on-
norman's birth cert.
norman's wedding cert,
mary's death cert,
john's death cert,
the jones/cropper marriage,
he is down as moulder or moulder in iron works.
now,on elizabeth's death cert she has her john down as electrical engineer,
it seems to me at the moment that it is slightly in favour, that it could be my john, how could we find the proof needed to verify this, gene is going to look at elizabeth's grave to see if there is a stone on it that would shed any light on it.

martynsue Report 15 May 2010 18:07

hi jan
she was going to go through the thread today,so i don't know at the moment

jansmith Report 15 May 2010 16:57

Hi did Gene think the birth/marriage record in Wrexham might be the family

martynsue Report 14 May 2010 19:48

owen down as a forgeman on wedding cert.

here's one for you on ann's death cert she is down as widow of howard jones? he was a iron puddler!!!

martynsue Report 14 May 2010 19:42

gene has wedding cert for john&elizabeth, his occupation is moulder,
also on electoral reg 1918 mary down as elizabeth ,then still as elizabeth with different children until 1939 then she went back to mary

martynsue Report 13 May 2010 22:24

yes he was a moulder in a ironworks

lancashireAnn Report 13 May 2010 22:19

going right back to the beginning with mary E jones death cert - did it state John edward's occupation on the certificate

I know you have probably said it somewhere but there is a lot to re-read
