1851...There is a large gap between the children,some may have died but it could also mean a remarriage for John or Mary?

What does it give for Marks mothers name on his birth cert?

You said that Marks father was called Thomas on his marriage cert,not John.

Can you give the 1861 census that you have him on with parents please?

And the details from his birth cert?

hi all can some one please check i have the right marriage for marks parents i have found mary hall john smith stokesey 24 541 dec 1837.
but she comes from fazeley staffs and he comes from milbourne derbyshire. just want to be sure i havnt missed a nearer match this seems along way from home especially when the settle in birmingham thanks zena

fanny you were right his certificate just come.from the marriage certificate his father is called thomas not mark as i though it also matches a birth certificate i sent for and thought was the wrong one hopefully you'll read this regards zena

Only to get his marriage cert for fathers name to try and track him back to get a more accurate year and place of birth.

His middle names could have been added at baptism,or he just fancied them.

There are a couple of later birth - perhaps he said he was older as Hannah may have been older.
