My Great Auntie May Eade was born in 1900 and the father William John Eade (deseased florist) is listed on her marriage certificate in 1925. (Arthur Frank Eade was listed as her father on the birth certificate and shown on the census returns as her father also living with her mother Delphine and brother Arthur in Bethnal green in 1901).

My family have told me that William John Eade was shown in family photos on horseback as a military policeman. He was the step father of Arthur and father of May.

The plot thickens.

From the 1901 census it looks as if Arthur Eade was the father of both Arthur and May.

Is this the correct birth for May:-

Name: May Delphine E Eade
Year of Registration: 1900
Quarter of Registration: Apr-May-Jun
District: Bethnal Green
County: Greater London, London, Middlesex
Volume: 1c
