Sorry, didn't mean to miss out please, not sure how to phrase an enquiry.

Thank you for responding. John Anthorn is still a bit of a mystery and whilst it states he was born in Kingston, Devon UK there is no record in any of the Kingstons of Anthorn, I can't connect him to the Anthorns in Cornwall although it probably is where his family came from Tavistock where he lived is just over the border. Very elusive this one so grateful for any help from any member.

Have since found out that John was baptised in St Budeaux parish, Kings Tamerton. Can now follow his family back through Cornwall.
