Ada Lily Workman, born 1899 in Dursley - I believe that she is Sarah Beckerton ( nee Workman ) daughter from a previous marriage - but I havent yet found her in 1901 or 1911 census - could someone please take a look for me ( fresh pair of eyes etc).........
I would have thought she would be in Dursley area or Pontypridd area somewhere.......with a member of the Workman or Beckerton families ( or maybe with one of Sarah or Williams sisters who had married into a different surname)? .......

Honor is in the workhouse with other Workman children but I can't see Ada Lily.
This isn't the original family you were looking for though, is it?

EDIT Right I see William is the eldest son of George and Elizabeth.

I am finding it so difficult to trace Ada Lily Workman in 1901 -

I dont seem to be able to find her in any census........but she must be somewhere !

She would have been just 1 / 2yrs old in 1901......she is not with her parents William & Sarah Anne Beckerton ( nee Workman ) and she is not in the workhouse with her siblings......

Does any one have any ideas at please?? I am really stuck here........

It is quite important to me - as - Ada Lily Workman was my grandmother....

ps - she married in Dursley in 1919 to James Nash - she married as 'Workman' ( not Beckerton) & as far as I know has always been known as Ada Lily Workman - even though it looks like her mother re-married to a William Beckerton.
Her mother had previouly been married to Joseph Workman & just to 'confuse' matters, I believe that her mothers original maiden name was also Workman.

Can anyone help me to Find Ada Lily Workman in 1901. All help / ideas appreciated
