Violet Elliott was born in Seven Kings Essex c1908. In 1911 lived 84 Chester Road, Seven Kings with her brother William Elliott born in Clennel, Ireland in 1910; Her Mother was Mary age 23 born in Corrick, Ireland. Her Father William Elliott was a half sibling to my Grandmother
Dorothy May Baldwin c 1901. Violet was a witness on Dorothy May's marriage cert in 1921 at St. Olave's, Bermondsey. Trying to find any decendants of Violet or William as my Grandmother died when she was 25 in 1926 and have never seen any family photo of her.

Not seeing a birth for Violet in Essex.

As her brother was born in Ireland, is it possible that's where Mary married William Elliott ?
What was Mary's maiden name ?

Maddie - yes that is her - Violet Minnie Elliott.

Rootgatherer - Susannah Baldwin (maiden name Madders) was a widow Susannah Elliott when she married Frederick Baldwin. William James Elliott was Voilet's father. Probably away working so not on the 1911 census with family.

Does anyone know if there were any other siblings of Violet & William Elliott.

I think I have found a marriage for Violet Elliott to Thomas F Cavalier Dec 1929 Romford 4a 1243.
Any descendants out there who could clarify this. I have ordered birth cert for Violet Minnie Elliott so at least I shall know what her Mother's maiden name was.

I thought Susannah Baldwin prev.Elliott maiden name was Madders but have just received her marriage cert and her Father was Henry Waddle.
Now I need to know why William Elliott would change his Christian names to Frederick Harry like his stepfather. I have found the name change on the medal list as William was in the 8th Hussars in 1908 when Violet was born
