We hear a lot of "desperate" around here. Just so we know, are descendants needed for some specific reason (medical histories, an aging relation who wants to know family), or is it just that you haven't been able to find info and are looking for help?

Do you know whether J S McCarthy married?

If he didn't marry / have children, what kind of information would you be expecting to find? Most people don't leave traces that can be found 60 years after their death, other than their vital records and any documents, photos etc. that their family may have.

I'm desperately trying to trace relatives of John Stephen McCARTHY born 31/12/1920 in STOKE NEWINGTON, LONDON. He was the son of Patrick Joseph McCARTHY and Elizabeth Isabel McCARTHY (nee TRACEY) and sibling of Anne and Denis?! John died in a light air craft at Elmsdon airport on 15/4/1951. Any info on any of them but particularly John would really be appreciated, it's as though he never existed?!

Kindest regards,

Lynsey
