Hi Lorraine,

I'll check at the archives just in case the church handed them in and the archives list hasn't been updated. If not then the records will still be with the Church so you could try the Church Warden otherwise its just buying the certificate from the reg office.

Sorry about this.

Hi Zoe and Nicholas,
Thank you I like to help others as I know how hard it is when you don't live in the area.

The first thing to do then is to check the Electrol Registers of the address he lived at and if that's his address when he died should be able then to find his death, will do that at the archives on my next visit.

In the meantime I checked the BMD site and found a possible death:
Joseph Wilson aged 55yrs March Qtr 1935 Worksop Vol 7b Pg 30.
Making this one born 1879 one to think about.

Hi Wendy

Would you be able to look up the marriage details (fathers names, & professions, date, witnesses) for Arthur Almand and Harriet E Hazard in June-Sept 1896 in Nottingham. Arthur was from South Witham, Lincs and Harriet was from the Sheffield area.
Also, would you look up any baptism details for their children William (b1897), John (b1899), Lilian May (b1902), Florence Ivy (b1905) and George (b1908).

They were living at no 2, Anandale Place, Nottingham, parish of Holy Trinity in 1901 census and Arthur was a Kitchen Gardener and William and John were shown as born in Lenton, Notts.

Regards

Chrissey

Hi Wendy,

If it's not too much trouble please could you look up the birth record for a Kenneth Parker born 1932 Nottingham.

I have the quarter as Jul-sept Vol 7B Page 615 if it's any help. I would really like to know the name of his mother and where she was living, also if the father was listed and whether the birth had any mention of Kenneth being adopted.

Many thanks (I hope I have done this request right as I don't post many messages on here)

Kind regards

Bev

Hi Bev,

I could look for a christening but it would take a long time as you don't know where about's in Nottingham they were and there is loads of churches and that's if he was christened, so to find the info you what I think it would be best for you to buy his birth certificate from Nottingham register office and I don't know if the certificate would say if he was adopted.

I did look on free bmd and his mother's maiden name was Bland and that there was also a Peter B Parker born Dec Qtr 1934 also mother maiden name Bland. I could not find a Parker marry a Bland in Nottingham but there was some possible in other area's.

Sorry not much help to you.
