Does anybody know of where I would be able to obtain information regarding a possible ancestor that was in Prison at Lancaster Castle, ie, why she was there, how long for etc. Her name was Mary Winkle and she was there on the 1911 census aged 36.
I have visited Lancaster Castle website and they only have record of the people that were tried there.
If anybody knows of where I could get access to this information I would appreciate it.
Thank you
Angela
