I have traced my routes back to my 5 times great grandfather William who was Married to Elizabeth Maryanne on 8th April 1774 by license at St Denys Church Rotherfield east sussex but have been unable to find where he was born I think outside the county as there was no record in the card index at lewes records office can anyone help please
