I am trying to find the date and place of death of my great-grandfather Francis Duffin. He was born in Nottingham in 1866 the son of William Duffin and Frances Maria Sladen. He married my great-grandmother Clara Pinchess in Sheffield in 1890. He left the family home around 1920 he was a master butcher. I have tried all avenues and would love to solve the mystery after all this time. His son Clement was my grandad any help will be gratefully received.

Hi There

Many thanks for the information I have tracked Francis' life up to 1920 he appeared in the Kellys Directory as still having a butchers shop in Sheffield. I can only guess it was after the 1911 census he decided to change career. My great grandmother ran a drapery shop from 300 Bellhouse Road until her death in 1925.
