Mary was born November 1, 1920 in Brandon Manitoba Canada and died September 4, 1988 in Victoria, British Columbia Canada. I am trying to find any records for her. She married a Raymond hayes abt 1939 and then a William Buchanan in 1955 in Victoria BC.

Her parents are given as Robert Rankin, b 1884 Branxton, Northumberland and Winifred Mary Wallis b 1884, Solihull, Warwickshire on family trees on Ancestry.

Thanks, I will check this out...it is so difficult to get information for Canada. Is there anything out there for a Marriage to Raymond Hayes? Her parents are Robert rankin and Winifred Wallis. Even though the kids John, Robert Thomas, David Moody, Mary Gwendolynne and Ruth were all born in Brandon Manitoba I can not find a Census for them.

Hi Joanne, as already explained the marriage would be too recent to find anything given the privacy laws.

You mention "Even though the kids John, Robert Thomas, David Moody, Mary Gwendolynne and Ruth were all born in Brandon Manitoba I can not find a Census for them." - when would they have been born. The last census available is 1916 so I think you won't find anything later.

John was born 1914, Robert b. 1916, David b. 1918, Mary b. 1920 and Jean Ruth was born 1922 all in Brandon, Manitoba
