Find Ancestors

Can anyone help me? My paternal grandparents were William Templeton and Flora Adair They lived in Island Street East Belfast Northern Ireland. They had 4 children Edna, William, Hugh and Sydney (my father). I am looking for my grandfather, I know he had a brother called Henry who lived with my grandparents but I can't find anymore info.

William John Templeton and his wife Flora, both born in Belfast circa 1889
children were
Eva Elizabeth aged 3
William John aged 2
Brother Henry Templeton was 15 yrs old.


I wondered if he had a WW1 record.
I found a man matching his description who enlisted twice.
Once in Belfast and later in Glasgow.
Although the man was born in Shankhill, and resembled your grandather's profile, it was definitely NOT him.

I can also find this other William John Templeton in Belfast in 1911, and the info he provided on both sets of service records, matches with his 1911 return.
