Hi,
I am trying to trace the parents of Richard Ellis born 1852 Londonderry and his wife Hannah Ewart born 1852 Londonderry. Richard and Hannah moved to Scotland and finally England. Richard died in Middlesbrough c. 1906.

Their marriage certificate should name his father.

Could Richard have died in Guisborough (it's not too far from Middlesbrough):-

EDIT - No, this is the wrong one. There is another Richard Ellis of the same age living in Guisborough in the 1901 census so this is probably him.

No I only know that they married in Ireland, sorry not much to go on.
As they were both born Londonderry I expect in that area?

Yes this is my Richard on 1901 census, thank you.
He was born in Ireland, lived in Scotland and finally
North East England.
