I am trying to find a Robert Sayers born around 1904 in the Bristol area can anyone help please? I dont have any other information at the moment sorry but there is a possibility they may have put the Surname down as Sayer??

Edit: A bit odd as there are 6 children on the census.

2 other daughters were written on the census and then crossed out. Probably 2 children who died?

The first one is Elizabeth....possibly age 26. (BLIND)

Just checking out the other one.........I think it is Rose....age 14 (BLIND)

This looks like it may be the parents marriage but you need a birth certificate for one of their children to confirm the mothers maiden name

Thanks for all the above information last week

I have managed to find John and Elizabeth in 1891 living in Bristol but his birthplace is down as Southampton??? but I am having trouble finding John in 1881!!! There are no Sayers/Sayers that match the date and area born , can anyone help at all? Could it be a spelling mistake??

Sorry I have another query as well. I still cannot find them but I have just downloaded the 1911 census and was looking at Elizabeth Sayers that has been crossed out (deceased). Can anyone else read what it says as Birth place?

Can't make out the first word but the second is Bristol.

1891 image definietly says Southampton but that could be mistranscription between the household schedule and the enumerator's sheet.

Was anyone able to help with this query as I am really struggling to find John Sayer/Sayers on the 1871 and 1881 (born 1861/62 in the Bristol Area) so im a bit stuck as where else to go unless I order a marriage certificate

My great grand mother was eliza Sayers they lived baptist street bristol she married my great grand father fred packer they married 1914 they had four children one died as for Jack Sayers he married Elizabeth Ann smith 1886 as for Robert Sayers he married Florence hicks in 1925
