BasketmakersHawkersTinsmiths Report 26 Aug 2012 08:43

Hi Guys

I really need an outsiders view on this!

My Decendant Ann Tonnar sometimes spelled (Tonar,Toner,Tonner & Tonnar) I have her DOB: Abt 1839 in Ireland. I'm trying to confirm where in Ireland she was born and more to the point, Who her mother was.

According to all the Census records she was Born Abt 1839 in Ireland. On her Marraige Cert I have her parents as James Tonnar & Mary Harrison (The cert is a bit fuzzy but i beleive that this is what it is)

On her Death Cert i have the Mother listed as Mary Mulligan (Whitch is Clear to see)

She lived around Hamilton in Lanarkshire,Scotland and this is where she was married and died. Can any of you see something that i can't? Was her Father married twice? What was her mothers real name Mary Harrison or Mary Mulligan?

She married James McNamee in Hamilton on the 23/11/1859.
Thanks in Advance!

Garry

Sorry, but What do you mean?

To explain what Flip means Garry,

Because you have no spaces in your board name GR is treating it as one word and so has had to widen all the columns on the board so it will fit in. - So, the board has now become too wide for the page.

It happens every time your name comes up on the main page in the original poster column and the latest poster column at the same time.

If you could put in a space, perhaps as 'basketmakers HawkersTinsmiths' it would split the name onto 2 lines and the board should go back to normal.

Thanks,

Dea x

You will only see the effect if you look on the main 'Find Ancestor's' board when you have just posted the last post on this thread. - It then remains like that until someone with a shorter name posts after you.

Dea...Have to agree with Gary...I cannot see a problem...?? Am I missing something...there is no distortion nothing as I am and have been viewing it since he first posted...???

Dea Report 26 Aug 2012 09:36

It happens when his name is in both columns - original poster AND last poster - when this happens the page distorts to more than the width of the page ;-)

Anyway - back to the matter in hand!

It looks as though they were still in Ireland for the 1841 as they have a son Thomas born there in 1842 (according to that Pedigree file).
