Maried 1924 to Edith Mary Jackson
Died 1943 Oxford area

is there a better way to look this up very new to all this.

we believe that it was in or around the oxfordshire area only one relative alive and that avenue has not been much help.
Jax,
the marriage certificate says "Grocer's Manager.
the other strange thing is I can not find his birth record, I have purchased 3 birth cets but none have the right farther. 1 from Marylebone, 1 from Edmonton and 1 from Poplar.
His death and marriage certs. give his name as William George he was 43 when he died in 1924.
Again thank you all I will keep looking.

No they did'nt have children

is the marriage certificate the only evidence you have for the name of his father???


If so, have you considered that he might have told porkies???


Many illegitimate children did make up the name of a father to put on their marriage certificate.
