Looking for my great grandfather

My great grandfather Albert William Floyd b 1854 married Elizabeth Morgan 1877 in Cwmbran. She remarried in 1885. Been searching to find out his fate for years. Help please.

So is the 1881 census the last entry you have for him ?

What was his age/occ/father's name etc on the marriage certificate?

Albert born in Bristol in 1854. His father shown as a baliff on marriage cert on 31 march 1877. On my grandmothers birth cert he is shown as police constable in Cwmbran on 24 june 1880. Not shown on 1881 census but wife Elizabeth , my grandmother and her brother Frederick born 1878 shown with surname Flood living with M Morgan, Elizabeths mother on 1881 census. Elizabeth was shown as married on that. On marriage certificate of Albert and Elizabeth he was shown as a labourer. Elizabeth remarried in 1885.
