	Susan As I said earlier ........... .............. the age shown on the 1851 record index page for Betsey is definitely WRONG I think the image says she is 9, or possibly 2 ................. but there is a black mark through it and thus it is not quite clear. It definitely does NOT say 27!. Betsey is a common shortened version for Elizabeth I think therefore that Betsey on the 1851 is the Elizabeth born in 1841, and baptised much later. sylvia

Member Since: March 2005 Posts: 3 Send Message	Thanks. Our posts must have crossed. The information I came across showed that Elizabeth was born in 1857 which must be wrong. The christening date is the same. I'll get the marriage certificate. Many thanks for your help.
