Hi Everyone

I am trying to find some information on WD Moore.

William was born in Bethnal Green 1901, married Katherine Sictorness also in Bethnal Green 1923.

They had William James b.1924, Frederick Alfred b.1926, Bella b.1927, Edward David b.1928, Thomas b.1929, Lillian b.1930, Ronald Arthur b.1936 and Jean b.1939. All born Bethnal Green.

Around the start of WW2 the family was relocated to Northampton.

In the 1911 census William David was living with his parents Frederick Robert Moore b.1861 and Isabelle Elizabeth Lathlieff b. 1876.

The period of interest is from around 1910 to around 1939. Nothing of his life is really known except that he got mixed with with a very bad mob.

It was thought that he was put on a Boarding Ship during WW1 however there does not appear to be any such thing. Another family lore thing is that he was on a Remand Ship - again there appears to be no such thing.

Any assistance/guidance would be very much appreciated.

Regards

Chris

As the 1921 census will not be available until at least 2021, you may have a long wait

BUT.......you have a fairly long list of children born to his wife..........surely he was at home then.

Hi

Thanks very much for your response.

Unfortunately we do not know where he moved to in Northampton only that it was part of a relocation organised by the Government of the day.

Equally we have no knowledge of "the mob" other than it was criminal of some sort.

Chris
