I am looking for Alexander Spence from Raphoe Donegal Ireland who emigrated after 1901. He was on the Donegal census then. I have been told that he had a sheep station in Australia but where in Australia is not known. I know he was born 24/09/1856 but I know from the census and his army records he must have thought he was born 1860. His parents were called Alexander and Mary Jane (nee Hamilton) Another interesting item, when he died his money came back to Ireland to his nephew. No dates for that either. Alexander was not married in 1901 I am looking forward to any information as I have been unable to get anything after 1901. I have checked Wills here in Dublin and Belfast but nothing there. :-S |
