it says she was married to john wright and was from braunton devon and maiden name was williams
so it is my auntie but im confused as it says she was married to john but why was her name SIMMINS
and it says her usual address was
the haven
oak hill
east budleigh
salterton
devon
then it says she was found dead at
45 poppyfields
gillingham
dorset
where it says who she was married to and lived it says the poppyfields address
someone called
anthony john louis moule found her
she died 7/1/2005
she was cremated

Hello Sandra, one possibility is that she may have legally been married to John Wright but if they'd parted and she lived with another man called Simmons then she may have taken his name. If she was known as Simmons then that's how she was registered in that name.

If you knew her as Wright then how did you know she died as Simmons in order to get that certificate?

someone told me on here to look under that name
quick history
shes my long lost auntie she ran away and married john dennis stanley wright in surrey in 1943
my dad ( her brother looked for her for years ) and sadly died in may 2005
i was determined to find her and to see if i have any relatives from that side.
i cannnot find a death cert for him and it says his name on the death cert as being the husband
