I have been trying to confirm Lellie Bebell & Lillian Beble are the same.

Owing to the discrepency of the surname spelling, I've contacted The General Register of BMD & applied for her birth & marriage certificates.

I wouldn't have been able to do this without your help.

have you tried FreeBMD with just her surname?

A nurse child means that she was being 'looked after' by people other than her parents.

I'm trying to find information on Lellie Bebell c1901.

On the 1911 census it states she was living in Croyden Surrey, with I John Bavin c1851 & his wife Catherine c1849.

Lellie was put down as a Nurse Child ( what was that !!!) also I think Lellie was a nickname.

I can't find her in the birth records.

Can anyone help me please.
