Hi everyone keep hitting brick walls trying to find my Dad's Gran! Her name was Mary Findlay and she was born in 1875 at Stoneykirk, Wigtownshire, Scotland.
She had an illegitimate son (William Findlay 1897) - his father's name was later put on the birth certificate (Francis Keegan).
As far as I am aware, Mary married a Mr Hughes and lived in Canada (Toronto).
I don't know if they were married in Scotland, England or Canada. It is most likely that Mary Findlay/Hughes moved to Canada after 1935.
Any help anyone could give me would be much appreciated.
