James John rice came out to New Zealand in 1891 but did he go back to England after 1898 and travled back to New Zealand in 1901 with his brother Alfred Peter Rice on the Ship CUZCO. Cheers

Have you looked on the 1901 census for them?

Any clues about location in England?

Douglas Report 14 Nov 2012 22:00

Hi All : I posted a thread on the 28 Oct on this subject with good results. Now I am looking for the Emigrating to New Zealand of James John Rice. James Born 1870. Emigrated in 1891 on the ship ROMA ?, and settled in New Zealand, Married in 1898. When James brother ( my GrandFather ) Alfred Peter rice Emigrated to New Zealand in 1901on the Ship CUZCO, their was a Jas J Rice traveling with him, Is their any way of checking to see if James traveled back the England and came back with his brother Alfred, Jas J Rice was the same age as his brother James. If so he would have traveled after 1898. Thank You
