Thanks for posting this Vera. I found it interesting as some of my lot come from that area. Sadly he isn't one of mine.

Reggie. I'm sure that I cannot be the only one who does not keep every name on their tree on here. I have many names to add when I have the time and inclination to double check it all and put them on.

According to records of this John Ringwood his wife was Annie living at the same address.

The man in the photograph belongs to the RAF Regiment which I don't think was formed until the early 1940's
Their job in the main was to defend RAF airfields
