Looking for parish records for a marriage.

I'm trying to find the parish records for a marriage in 1894, between William Henry Stone and Rosa Annie White.
Their banns were posted on 7 Jan 1894 at Battersea Rise St Mark, Wandsworth, although the groom lived in the parish of St John's Battersea. They definitely married as the marriage was registered in Q1 1894 in Wandsworth, but I can't find the marriage in either St Mark's or St John's.
Any suggestions please?

Many Thanks

Sally

If you buy the marriage certificate it will tell you where they married.

The images for St John Battersea 1894 are not on Ancestry. They jump from 1889 to 1896.

The Banns register for St Mark has the entries are either written over with 'Married' or 'Certified' so would suggest those 'Certified' did not marry there....And their marriage was 'Certified'.

It may mean you will have to buy the certificate.

Sorry
Chris

Thanks Kath, unfortunately my friend who this info is for, doesn't really want to do that unless absolutely necessary. She is only hunting for the parish records so as to confirm the names of the couple's fathers.

Could the marriage have been in a register office?
