How did he sign himself at marriage, -Was it Wyndham?
I'm just wondering if that was his given name, but for whatever reason he was registered at death with a different first name.
Are you 100% sure that you have the correct death certificate?

I wonder if anyone can help me find my dads birth.
I have his marrige cert which states he married ethel geogina whitehead in june 1955 in Barnstable north Devon aged 32, and went under the name of Wyndham Lewis. His father's name was David Lewis (deceased) and was a Fisherman.
Wyndham was the name he put down on mine and my sisters birth cert. I have his death cert in the name of David Wyndham Lewis died 1964 aged 39 in Aberyswyth.
I can't seem to find any births that fit from 1923-1925. Any help would be great.
