Even if the electrol roll could be accessed online for that area and period 1930s .........I dont believe it would give an occupation............unlike the Australian one

If these men married, their occupations will be on their marriage certs.........the simplest way to get the info.

ER's in the UK don't give info about occupations, and back in 1910, there was a limited electoral franchise.
