Karen

You really should stick to ONE thread about this family.

And please read the guidelines about how to ask for help.........or, at least, look at other requests to get some idea of how to go about it

Have you done anything about finding out who George married?

Look for info on freebmd..................the fun of FH is doing it yourself as far as possible

This woman was travelling with George

Do you know the names of his daughters and whether they were born in England or in Canada?

Karen

Karen Report 10 Dec 2012 13:53

I know the girls were married in Ontario I think they must have been born in england

From the 1911 census on your other thread, George was farm labourer - bit of a jump to an Education Officer (passenger list) - I don't think that is your George.

This could be his marriage:

Marriages Dec 1911 (>99%)
Cater Frederick G Swaffham 4b 1055
REEVE Violet L Swaffham 4b 1055

If you use freebmd ( http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl ) you can search for Cater/Reeve births - there a few, maybe some of the names will mean something to you

I think you could be right. Andi think they may have still been in HArpley nearest registrar staff ham which is near. Maybe this is not the one that emigrated
