Sarah Mather born 29.10.1849

Please can anyone help me to find the parents of the above. I believe she had a brother called Frank, but don't know his date of birth.

Sarah is my great grandmother, and the second wife of John Hilton born 24.10.1840. As far as I know, they had two children, Annie Hilton , born 5.1.1875 and James William Hilton born 24.3.1877, at Blackfort Bridge, Bury, Lancashire. (Annie was my fathers mother).

I would be very grateful for any help

How do you know Sarah's date of birth? Do you have a birth cert for her? If so what does it say?

Many thanks to you all for your help. I was thrown by a family history of Darah having a brother called 'Frank''. I am beginning to think he may have been a relative from another branch of the family who was close, and therefore referred to as 'Uncle' as a mark of respect. I had this as my mother was the youngest survivor of 9 children, and she was in her forties when I was born. I referred to most of my first cousins as aunt or uncle out of respect!

This misinformation regarding Frank led me on a wild goose chase, and there are an awful lot of Sarah Mathers born in 1850!
