Am trying to find info re my wifes Grandmother who married Frank Willoughby Walter at Horncastle in 1916 .

I can see her marriage but not anything else. Do you know if this was her maiden name?
ADDED it seems to be, as 2 offspring I think?

She may have added the 'Dorothy' herself at some stage.........confirmation, perhaps?

Thank you, one and all for the prompt replies and the fantastic information unearthed, its made our day but sad to note that my father - in - law never knew that his mother passed away aged 90 at about the same time as himself at the age of 72.

can anyone help regarding death of Frank Willoughby Walter ? also did Ethel Dorothy Raithby marry again or have any further children apart from Frank Edward Walter when she was married to F W Walter.

Can't see a death for him, but I think Reggie has found Ethel's death record, see above.

You can check for births yourself on Freebmd, but it looks like there was only one, unless this is a bit mis-transcribed:

If the date of birth on the death record is correct (at least the day and month which is usually the case) then this is the most likely birth I can see for Ethel but without a first name when she was registered:-
