Barry,as you can see you need to get the death cert for John in Sussex as thats where they lived for years.You may have the wrong death for the John that died in Kent.

He would have been born either 1833 or 1834 depending on what month he was born.

The only John Woodhams on the NBI 3RD EDITION is 77 yrs old and buried 22 April 1887 in Rye Sussex.

And the only Caroline is 44 yrs old and buried 18 Sept 1919 in Hollingtom Sussex and she had a middle name Lucy.

Hi there Barry - Was John born in Kent?

Hello,
not sure how to precede with this,so i am looking for ideas.
Looking for the last resting place for
My G G Great grandfather John Woodhams 1833- 1887 and his wife Caroline {Card}
died 1913
John died in Groombridge Kent on the 7th of May 1887.
I have emailed the local church and wrote but had no reply.
Caroline died in Hartfield Sussex but is not buried in the local church St Marys so she is presumably she is with her husband.

Is there a place with recorded burials?

Hope some one can help......if not thanks for reading this.
