Hi, Robyn

Welcome to the boards.

Have you tried Search All Trees under the Search button above?

You can put the names of the family in and see if anyone else has them.

If you find a possible match you can contact the tree owner to see if you have a connection.

I would suggest that you delete the automatic message about looking at their tree. Most members will not open their trees to you until a connection has been established so just type your own message about who you think you may have in common.

Parents names John Parker and Elizabeth Colley (Birthplace Rollendeen, Sussex).
Siblings: Joseph T.(Birthplace Whitstable) , Alexander C.(Birthplace Dover) , George R.(Birthplace Dover) , Lousia R.(Birthplace Dover) .

also...

According to a poster on that thread: Edward had 10 siblings. Two of his sisters, Mary Ann and Ellen, also came to Melbourne . . . Mary Ann married John Basford WOOSTER in Victoria in 1862.

They returned to the UK in April 1867 but came back to Victoria in Aug 1868 (aboard Macduff). It seems they had no children together.

She died in South Yarra on Nov 14, 1894, about the same time Edward left England for Victoria. Her husband's death notice:
The Argus, Monday 10 February 1890
WOOSTER.—On the 8th inst., at his late residence 29 Donald-street, College-lawn, Prahran, John Basford Wooster, late of St. Arnaud, aged 62 years. Home papers please copy.

So it seems that your grandfather was named after his uncle, not long after his death.
