My birth name is Smith but i am known as Carl White after my late mother remarried in 1968
i have now changed my name to White by deed poll as that is the name everyone knows me as
i hope this clarifies things

Hi i would just like to say a big thankyou to all the kind people who have helped me find my late Mothers relatives
I cant say in words how grateful i am for all the support and information i have received and if anyone needs any help from me in the future please ask thankyou and a very Happy New Year to one and all

This Carl is Smith - but mother died as White.
The other one was White.
So same person, surely?
