	I watched the midwives on tv xmas day and a nurse found an old ladies children who all died in a workhouse also found where they were buried So why cant I as my 3rd grt grandparents William Mc Dowell and Mary Ann Gerrys children died in Stoke Damerel Devon and nobody can help me find were they were buried as I am unable to go down there myself William Mc Dowell b 1766 Ireland Died 21/3/1844 Stoke Damerel Devon Catherine Gregory b 1772 D 1858 Roborough Devon William b 1792 Sidbury Devon D 28/6/1842 Clowance Stoke Damerel Mary Ann Gerry b 1796 Ashwater Devon D 29/1/1837 Plymouth (I cant trace a marriage) Children John b 8/10/1815 D 11/9/1849 Mary Ann b 13/4/1817 D ? Amelia b 29/6/1819 D 21/2/1822 Louise b 13/7/1821 D 10/2/1822 William b 8/5/1828 D ? Thomas b 19/6/1831 D 22/9/1831 Thomas b 30/8/1833 D 10/12/ 1837 I would be so grateful if anyone can help me find these buriels as I have tried and I am stuck with this family now joyce

	How did you find out the exact dates of death? Most of them were before certs were issued................. Have you tried contacting the Church in Stoke Damerel?

	Thank you for the quick replies Reggie and Patchem I have tried emailing the registry office in devon and i was a member of the devon society were i did get a lot of info as well as genes reunited members also i bought a couple of death certificates my relative in australia has helped me as shes a member of ancestry but she cant help me with deaths or were they were buried as i beleave the cemetry in stoke damerel was built on i did try other cemetrys but had no replies which church should i contact thank you once again joyce
