Please could a kind person with access to Australian Records help me with the following information.
I found my Great Grand Uncle Benjamin Wright b, c1825 in Dartford,Kent in the 1851 Census along with his Wife Elizabeth English b, 1827 St Martin in the fields, Westminster, London and one year old daughter Maria Lisette [incorrectly shown as Mary Ann L] b; 1850 St George the Martyr, Surrey. Could find no trace of any of them after this, until I looked for Maria on Ancestry, which unfortunately can not afford a membership to. And from The Australian Marriage index saw that she married a Henry Moody Ellis in Victoria and that she died in Victoria.

Please could you possibly find some dates as to when Benjamin and Elizabeth arrived in Australia and if they had any further Children. And any further info on Maria would be most appreciated.

Benjamin Wright the Son of William Wright and Ann Whitsey was a 'Currier 'by trade.

Many thanks for any help. Kiwibird

There are 4 trees on Ancestry with this family. Might as well put what they have got - sadly my Ancestry membership does not give access to passenger lists.

Benjamin death
1886 15 Apr

That might be right Rootgatherer - they had a daughter born Australia in 1858, so must have been there before this.

Thanks to Brumiejan I have made contact with a person on Ancestry who is a direct descendant of Benjamin and with their help have found a whole branch of my Family I did not know existed in Australia. Am glad I decided after quite a few years to have another go at trying to find some of the Elusive people in my family tree.
The moral of the story is if you don't succeed the first time, leave it a while and try again. :-) :-) :-)
