Hi, Many thanks for all your posts,

Jax, yes this is him.

K, Thank you

Reggie, In the 1881 census it says he is married so I could not understand why he wasnt with his wife and as I didnt know what her name was I was stumped !. Robert is a brother to my Great , Great Grandfather Richard Davies 1829. They are all in the 1841 census. Many thanks for your time and advice

You say he's a 'relative'............how did you work back to him?

If the 1881 posted above is correct..he is not recorded as a visitor

Have you been flexible in your approach when searching?

I think the same couple above in 1871. I can't see them as a couple in 1881 but daughter Annie M is a visitor with a family in Essex.
