Looking for info on my Grandad William Williams, born in Hulme, Chorlton, Lancs in1883c, married Ada Farrar born 1st quarter 1890 on11/03/1916 at St John Evangelist Church, Cheetham, Lancs. He lived at 62 Sandy Lane, Prestwich, Lancs as far back as i can remember until his death there on 04/05/1956. (several of my Grandma's family, the Farrars lived next door and nearby) They had 5 children that i remember, Ada, Edgar, Maud, Joyce and John. Sadly all have passed now.
Can anybody help me please. Would love to find our more about my Grandad's ancesters.

Have you looked on FreeBMD for a birth for him . he should have been registered

Hi Shirley,

Thank you for your quick response. I got bogged down with all the William Williams, i must have missed the one you found. It does sound quite positive.

I have got their marriage certificate but his father is also William Williams!!

Ada Williams was my mother. I just put all her brothers and sisters down in case anyone actually knew the family.

Also, thank you for the info on the Farrar family.
