I hope someone can help,I have managed to trace a marriage for James Chapman and Sarah Milne Boutcher, Southwark 19/08/1855. His Father is also named as James. I have found census's which I think is the family and I think James snr's wife may have been called Sarah but I can't find a marriage. |

I would be inclined to purchase one of the youngest childrens birth certs to find out Sarah's maiden name. |

Will the certificate have a maiden name on it in that time frame? I thought maiden names happened later. |
