Andoluvian Grand Order Of Buffaloes Leicester

My Paternal Grandfather was William Henry Smith who was born in 1884 in Leicester and married Florence Cockayne.

I have photographs of him in regalia, but have not been able to find out more information about the above. I am not sure if it was charitable or work related.

If anyone can help me understand what the order was or is in Leicester and can advise on how to access sources, that would be fantastic.

As I do not live near to Leicester or have relatives with any information, I am hoping someone else might be able to brighten my new year search.

Many Thanks

Angie
