Any idea if he married?
His marriage cert. would give you his father's name and occupation along with his age and his own occupation and address at the time of marriage.
Do you know if he had any children?
Their birth certificates would give you their mother's maiden name so you could find a marriage record, if you do not already know it.

Do you have any other information at all, that may help?

His death cert is the only record showing.

Where was he born? did he marry if so when and to whom ??
