You have her marriage details as posted by Glitterbaby, her maiden name was Mary Blake.

Unfortunately at tha time (1815) marriage details would not have included her father's name.

Thank you for your info. Yes Mary was married to John Miller before Lashford Saunders. I have not been able to find her marriage details for maiden name or birth details, with John Miller, to find her parents,as with my 6 times Gt Grandfather's (Lashford Saunders) parents.

Your comments were appreciated. I will follow up on Thomas and Katherine Sanders. Many thanks

tree on Ancestry has this, but doesn't substantiate it

"Mary Blake married John Miller, 1815 at Nutfield. John Miller died 1820, 26 years. Mary was a widow at her marriage to Lashford Saunders. Unproven, but likely"

the marriage image for Mary Miller definitely says she was a widow.

Sorry, I misread it, and just went back and altered my previous message - some trees on Ancestry have her as Mary Blake, so I don't know if that was her maiden name, but haven't found a 'first' marriage yet.

The name Lashford seems peculiar to Worth, Sussex.

Thomas 1768, Katherine 1771 - and many more, all children of Lashford and Katherine Sanders, Worth Sussex
