WOW!
Yes, that is amazing, Vera. The family had thought that there was a connection with working at a hotel in Blackpool, but it was assumed it was Frances who worked at one. So this definitely fits. I am so happy - thank you so much - you are very kind to do that for me. :)

My great grandmother was Frances Petrie (born Frances McPetrie). I am trying to find out what happened to her siblings but I get so far and then nothing - no deaths that I can see, no marriages for two of them.
They were all born in Chorlton.
Isabella McPetrie born 1875 (first born of William McPetrie and Emma Lowe)
Isabella McPetrie was a witness at Frances Petrie's wedding in Nottingham in 1905 but other than this I cannot see her in the 1911 census, cannot find a death or marriage (and I have searched using McPetrie and Petrie to no avail).

Jessie McPetrie born 1884 married Richard Crompton (born c.1877) and had at least one daughter, Joan M, born 1918. They lived in Eccles. I have been unable to find Jessie's death or find out what happened to the daughter.

Mary McPetrie born 1881 (sometimes referred to as Polly). Mary McPetrie was a witness at Jessie's wedding in 1907 in Eccles but I cannot find her in the 1911 census, cannot find a marriage or death.

In the 1881 census the family (William, Emma and daughters) are living in Withington. In this census McPetrie was spelled as McPatree.
In the 1891 census the family was living at South Shore, Blackpool.
In the 1901 census Emma, Frances, Jessie and Polly are living in Fylde (but I cannot find Isabella in this year).
In the 1911 census Jessie is living in Eccles with her family, Frances is married and living with her family but I cannot find Isabella or Mary.

If anyone can help trace Isabella, Mary and Jessie, I would be extremely grateful. I have spent many hours going round and round in circles trying to find anything but to no avail. Thank you.
