Claire Report 1 Feb 2013 22:35

Dear Pam,

Thanks to you, I have found living relatives in England from this line!

I really appreciate your help.

Claire :-)

Claire Report 16 Jan 2013 13:50

Dear Pam,

Your information has been really helpful as it pointed me in the right direction. I have now found where Annie Foskett nee Quinn was buried. I have found a son who was born in Ireland but after Annie's death both him and his father moved back to england.

The son Herbert got married and had a child also.

I think I've managed to get most of the info on them now.

Thanks again

Hi Claire,

There is a good possibility that this is the family you are looking for.

Just looked at the 1911 irish census and Joseph Foskett is with his uncle in Urney.
Residents of a house 9 in Clady Town (Urney, East, Tyrone)

He is from London, so perhaps he went there.

Looking deeper.

Hi Claire
All I found was a marriage of
Annie E Quinn to
Joseph Henry Faskett

Tyrone N.I. 1921

Claire Report 15 Jan 2013 23:39

I'm not sure exactly where they were born as I haven't found any birth records but the family generally seem to be in and around Urney Presbyterian Church near Strabane, Co Tyrone NI.

I really appreciate all the help you have given me regarding all this. I am planning to go to Ireland in April and hope to visit BDM as well as Proni so if you have any irish family needing researched, let me know!

MarieCeleste Report 15 Jan 2013 23:12

Hello Claire, where and when were Joseph and Annie born?

Claire Report 15 Jan 2013 23:02

Struggling with this part of the family tree. Joe / Joseph Foskett / Faskett md Annie Quinn in Strabane Co Tyrone Northern Ireland in 1921 but I don't know where they went.

Annie Quinn's parents were Hugh and Elizabeth. Elizabeth's maiden name was Gormley - father Joseph.

They were married 9/12/1880 at Urney Presbyterian Church. Hugh's father was James.

I have a record of Annie Quinn in the 1901 & 1911 census living at Urney with her mother (earlier with 2 brothers and sister). She married Joe Faskett in 1921 in Strabane.

There is a family tree on ancestry showing them plus a child and I have contacted the owner but any info anyone can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Annie's sister emigrated to America before her and was a real jet-setter. She (Rebecca/Reba) was back and forth to Ireland, went to France, was in Denver, Landed in San Francisco & was in Honalulo.

Thank you in advance.

Claire :-)
