Only problem now is that I think he enetered the name of his father as Joseph when he got married but on the 1841 he appears to be the son of John Muffitt stone mason.....jl

I think Lilian is from the same family, she's on the 1881 above with brother Alfred M who is surely the "A M" referred to?

The John Sheard on the 1871 posted above is a fruit dealer so must be an entirely different family who just also had a son called Alfred.

The John you want is obviously the one with son A.M. on hs death cert.

Not sure that Lilyan is from the same family

This i a baptism of Cathereine, but at the same time there were two other children baptised.

This household info looks like the one Mike, as his son had the initials A M Sheard and I notice him as being 28 on the info. I will look into all this and once again - thank you very much for your help.
