I have found a marriage entry on another web site. Unfortunately I cannot see the name of the groom because of a missing digit. How can I find the name?

I think she married James Smith as Edgar appears 1911 with spouse Violet Kate.

I have considered the marriage to James Smith but I cannot find them on 1911 or a possible death.

She is only a distant relative so I will not try to get a certificate.I am onl trying to tie up loose ends.
