If he married your grandmother's mother, the marriage cert will include details of his father

Charles Johnson is my grandmothers father. I know of his sister Nancy through conversations with his grandson, my dad and his daughters, but we know very little about him because both he and his sister Nancy ran away from home. I cannot find them in the census and therefore cannot find his parents names or siblings to trace this side of my family back further. Their father remarried and had a new family with his second wife, name unknown. These we know very little about.

I am trying to find Charles Johnson born in St Clements, Middlesex c1881. He had a sister called Nancy and other siblings, names not known. He served in the Boer War and was part of theDuke of Cornwall regiment. Can anyone provide me with further information. He does not appear in the census!
